Our History
Victory Cleaners was originally founded by in 1946 after WWII by Aurelio Martinez and Jesse Gomez. In 1958 Mr. Gomez ventured out on his own, leaving Mr. Martinez as the sole owner.
Both Mr. Martinez and his wife, Isabel Martinez, ran the business together for many years with the help of their five children. Gloria and Armando stayed on permanently to run the business in the mid-eighties and have been the backbone ever since. Though Aurelio did not oversee the day-to-day operations, he still came in every morning till noon up until the mid-90s.
Today Victory Cleaners has expanded from one store to three stores. We are one of the oldest family-owned small businesses in San Marcos. We pride ourselves on keeping the same quality and customer service from the day we first opened. For over 60 years we have been blessed with amazing employees and customers. We hope to continue serving you and your family for generations to come.
